Poor Little Johnny

Little Johnny's neighbors had a new baby. Unfortunately, the baby was born without ears. When the mother brought the baby home from the hospital, Little Johnny's family was invited over to see him.

Before they left their house, little Johnny's dad had a talk with him and explained that the baby had no ears. His dad also told him that if he so much as mentioned anything about the baby's missing ears of even said the word "ears," he would get the spanking of his life when they came home. Little Johnny told his dad that he understood completely.

When Johnny looked into the crib he said, "What a beautiful baby."

The mother said, "Why, thank you, Little Johnny."

Little Johnny said, "He has beautiful little feet and beautiful little hands, a cute little nose and really beautiful eyes. Can he see?," asked Johnny.

"Yes," the mother replied, "we are so thankful. The doctor said he will have 20/20 vision."

"That's great," said Little Johnny, "'cuz he'd he shit out of luck if he needed glasses."

As they're driving home they're really depressed. The driver turns toward his passenger and says, "Do you realize that this one lousy fish we caught cost us fifteen hundred bucks?"

His friend replied, "Wow! Then it's a good thing we didn't catch any more."

Get'cher Left/Right Wing On

Larrigo Steelflint rode into the Univ of Virginia Campus with blood on his mind. There was no gettin' around it: Somebody had to die.

He whupped his hoss 'cross the withers to make up time he had lost swimming across the Puddin' Head River. The hoss, Emma Withers by name, figured it was Larrigo's fault for not leavin' camp on time......so, he just kept on amblin', as amblin' horse flesh is sorta bound to do. And so do Ramblin' Rose.

The fella that was to die that day was either Jack McCain or B.H. Obamer. Tell the truth, they both had it comin', bein's both had some high and mighty views, visions, outlooks and perceptions of theyselves.

See, they is runnin' for President of the YewNited States and they bicker a lot. So one of 'em has got to get kilt because I can't stand this argumentative back and forth horsesh_t. (Note how I cleverly covered up that cussword? Nobody ever said Larrigo was ahind the door when the brains was passed out -- or on.)

Casemeier in pernt: Jack thinks rich people need a tax cut. B.H. thinks rich people need a tax increase. I cain't settle this, so one of 'em has got to go. At high noon, providin' the sun is out.

The way we're gonna settle this is just as they did in the old days -- mano a mano, with six-guns and pace-offs and bear meat for the winner. It is now 11:57 a.m., so we got only three minutes to get rid of one of 'em.

So I line 'em up, back to back, tell 'em to take 10 paces forward, then turn and fire in the hole.

Of course you know what happen. They both took 9 steps, turned and gutshot me.

I'll be home soon, Mom. Just let me drain a little more blood on this anthill, and I'll be there witchya.

I often wondered which one of them fellas was the biggest as_shole. But I can't get my brain around it. I think the REAL biggest a__hole is the current President of the YewNited States. He going around saying what he wants for Christmas is a peppermint stick so he can stick it up his _sshole. Oh, and a third term; he wants that, too.

Wish I had a coupla peppermint sticks right now. I'd shove 'em in these bulletholes and keep a few ants from drownin'.

Never Thought Eve Would Look So Fine

As I always say (don't I always say this?), there is nothing like a good Bible story to make your day. Or your several days.

"How Adam Got Eve"

Adam was hanging around the Garden of Eden, feeling very lonely. So Big Ernie asked him, "What's wrong with you?"

Adam said he didn't have anyone to talk to. So Big God said, "I will fix that. I will make you a companion, and its name shall be 'woman'."

Big Ernie said, "This pretty lady will gather food for you, she will cook for you, and when you discover clothing she will wash it for you."

And further, he said, "She will always agree with every decision you make and she will not nag you. She will always be the first to admit she was wrong when you've had a disagreement. SHE WILL PRAISE YOU!

"She will bear your children, and never ask you to get up in the middle of the night to take care of them. She will NEVER have a headache and will freely give you love and passion whenever you need it!"

Adam asked God: "What will a woman like this cost?"

Big Ernie replied: "An arm and a leg."

Then Adam asked, "What can I get for a rib?"

Of course, the rest is history.....!!!

"So, from now on when I say BELL 1, I want you to strip naked. When I say BELL 2 I want you to jump in bed. And when I say BELL 3, we are going to make love all night."

The next night he came home from work and yelled, "BELL 1!" His wife promptly took off all her clothes. When he yelled "BELL 2!", his wife jumped into bed. When he yelled "BELL 3!", they began making love.

After a couple of minutes, his wife yelled "BELL 4!" The husband asked, "What the hell is BELL 4?"

A Lesson in Economics

Johnny wanted to have sex with a girl in his office, but she belonged to someone else.

One day, Johnny was so frustrated that he went up to her and said, "I'll give you $100 if you let me have sex with you." But the girl said no.

Johnny said, "I'll be fast. I'll throw the money on the floor. You bend down to get it, and I'll be finished by the time you pick it up."

She thought for a moment and said she would have to consult her boyfriend. So she called her boyfriend and told him the story.

Her boyfriend says, "Ask him for $200, pick up the money real fast, and he won't even be able to get his pants down."

So she agrees, and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call.

Finally, after 45 minutes, the boyfriend calls to try to find out what happened.

She responded: "The bastard used coins!"

A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed off first. This natural selection is good for the group as a whole because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular culling of the weakest members.

Now then, as you know, excessive intake of alcohol kills off brain cells, too, taking out the slowest and weakest brain cells first. This elimination of the slower brain cells in turn makes the brain a faster and more efficient machine, which is why you always feel smarter after a few drinks.

Here's how Norman Rockwell would have portrayed a Redneck Thanksgiving.

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote: "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. And added to it was this cryptic message: "Genesis 3:10."

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter

Revelation 3:20 begins, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."

Genesis 3:10 reads: "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."

Two aliens landed in the Arizona desert near a gas station that was closed for the night. They approached one of the gas pumps and the younger alien addressed it, saying, "Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace. Take us to your leader."

The gas pump, of course, did not respond. The younger alien became angry at the lack of response. The older alien said, "I'd calm down if I were you."

The younger alien ignored the warning and repeated his greeting. Again, there was no response. Annoyed by what he perceived to be the pump's haughty attitude, he drew his ray gun and said impatiently, "Greetings, Earthling! We come in peace. Do not ignore us this way. Take us to your leader or I will fire!"

The older alien again warned his comrade. "You probably don't want to do that. I really don't think you should make him mad."

"Rubish," replied the cocky, young alien. He aimed his weapon at the pump and opened fire. There was a huge explosion. A massive fireball roared towards them and blew the younger alien off his feet and deposited him a burnt, smoking mess about 200yards away in a cactus patch.

Half an hour passed. When he finally regained consciousness, he refocused his three eyes, straightened his bent antenna, and looked dazedly at the older, wiser alien, who was standing over him shaking his big, green head.

Exclaimed the young, fried alien, "How did you know he was so dangerous."

The older alien leaned over, placed a friendly feeler on his crispy friend, and replied, "If there's one thing I've learned during my intergalactic travels, it is that you don't want to mess with a guy who can loop his penis over his shoulder twice and then stick it in his ear."

Give Me an Old-Timey Telephone

Sometimes a photographer hits it lucky, getting that "frozen in time" photo that he/she didn't realize he had until he gets it back from the print shop. Like these:

+ + + + + + + +

A Kansas farm wife called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called. And, that on the few occasions when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.

The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.

The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned and the telephone began to ring.

Climbing down from the pole, the repairman found:

1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a steel chain and collar.

2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.

3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the number was called.

4. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate.

5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring.

Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be deciphered by pissing and moaning.

We Hit the Road Again

Scamp and I journeyed into Washington State a few days ago to see what evil lurks in the hearts of men.....Wait, no, I mean, to see what birds frolic there. Unhappily, not too many. This was nice, though: a geese family. The white thing at the bottom of the photo is a fence. I don't get around well, and it was either take this picture, or take none. Guess which I chose?

And then there is the crowd favorite, the red-winged blackbird. We have these at home, too, but I sort of liked seeing this one shining in the sun.

A Mormon was seated next to an Irishman on a flight from London. After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken. The Irishman asked for a whiskey, which was promptly brought and placed before him.

The flight attendant then asked the Mormon if he would like a drink. He replied in disgust, "I'd rather be savagely raped by a dozen whores than let liquor touch my lips.

The Irishman then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, "Me too. I didn't know we had a choice."

A big city lawyer went duck hunting in rural Alabama. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of the fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.

The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell into your field. Now I want to retrieve it." But the old farmer said, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."

The lawyer, indignant now, said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the United States, and if you don't let me get that duck I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle disputes in rural Alabama. We settle small disagreements with the "Three Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Three Kick Rule'?"

The farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurred on my land, I get to go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on back and forth until somebody gives up."

The lawyer quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the attorney. His first kick planted the toe of his steel-toed work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. His second kick to the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing from his mouth. The lawyer was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end sent him face first into a fresh cow pie. The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet.

Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "Okay, you old fart. Now it's my turn."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck."

Take Your Own Sweet Time

George Phillips of Meridian, MS, was going to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from her bedroom widnow. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw there were some people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, and and told them. "Is there any one of them in your house?"

He said "no," and was advised, "All our a patrols are busy, but just lock yuourself in the house and an officer would be shortly along when available.

George said, "Okay," counted to 100 and phloned up the police again. "Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things out of my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them anymore because I just shot them."

Within three mintues six police cars, a SWAT gteam, a helicopter, two paramedics, and an ambulance showed up at Phillips' residence amd caught the burglers red-handed, who had not been shot, after all.

One of the policemen said to George, "I thought you said you'd shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available."

A Jumbo-Size Bird Story

This story came up in a contest for birders:

Freedom and I have been together 10 years this spring. She came in as a baby with two broken wings. Her bill doesn't open all the way, even after surgery. When Freedom came in she could not stand. She was emaciated and full of lice. We made the decision to give her a chance at life, so I took her to the Vets office. From then on, I was always near. We had her in a huge dog carrier with the top off and she would lay there looking at me with those big brown eyes. We also hand fed her for weeks.

This went on for four-six weeks and by then she still couldn't stand. It got to the point where the decision was made to euthanize her if she couldn't stand in a week. She was going to be put down that Friday, and I was supposed to cdome in on that Thursday afternoon. I didn't go because I couldn't stand the thought her her beging euthanized.

But I went in on Friday and when I walked in everyone was grinning from ear to ear. I immediately went back to her dog cage and there she was, standing on her own, a big beautiful Bald Eagle. She was ready to live. We knew she could never fly, so the director had me train Freedom to walk. I got her used to the glove and jessies.

In the spring of 2000 I was diagnosed with non-Hodkin's lymphoma. I had stage 3 which is not good. I wound up doing eight months of chemo. When I felt well enough I go take Freedom for walks again. Fast forward to fall of 2008 waiting for the last tests. In a few days I had them: all the cancer was gone!

On a side note: I have had people who were very sick come up to us when we were out and Freedom seems to have some kind of hold on them. We once had a guy with terminal cancer come up to us and I let him hold her. His knees just about buckled and he swore he could feel her power coarse through his body. I have so many stories like that.
