A Different World

"Sir Francis Drake circumcised the world with a 100-foot clipper."

This is just one facet of World History to be found at Strange Places. Here are a few more:

"Benjamin Franklin died in 1790 and is still dead."

"John Milton wrote 'Paradise Lost'. Then his wife dies and he wrote 'Paradise Regained'."

"Queen Victoria was the longest queen. She sat on the thorn for 63 years.... Her death was the final event which ended her reign."

Georgy Porgy, pudding and pie,
Kissed the girls and made them cry.
And when the boys came out to play,
He kissed them, too, 'cause he was gay.

Wally, 85, married the girl of his dreams, a chick only 25 years old. On the wedding night the chick decided they should have separate rooms, fearing Wally might get rambunctious and have a heart attack.

Shortly after going to bed, Wally arose and went into the chick's room and "made hay." A couple of hours later, Wally again arose and went into his bride's room and "did what came naturally." Three hours later, Wally was back. The bride says, "My, how can you do it so often?"

And Wally says, "You mean I have been here before?"
